    Hello Everybody,

I was wondering if the GitHub data of the left hand is also updated? I see that the map “Hand” was updated for minor errors, tho the left ” Hand” was not updated. I’d like to make a left hand, is it still okay to use those files even tho they are not updated like the right “hand” map?

    Edit:
Since i’m making a left hand, i’ve noticed that the left-hand-files of the Hackberry aren’t the save catagorized as the right hand. I’ve sorted out the left hand STL files from the right-hand, and some files were missing i’m not sure if some of those files you can just grab from the right hand files since left and right are mirrored. Anyway the following files were missing in the lefthand file map:

Desktop.ini seems to miss in every filemap i know .ini file is some option/settings file i’m not sure if its important but ill not it anyway.

    Indexfinger:

    HbIndexinputlink02.STL is missing
    Desktop.ini is missing

    Middle,ring,littlefinger
    Desktop.ini

    SensorU
HbSensorholder02.STL is missing ( can use from right arm?)
HbSensorPlate.stl is missing ( can use from right arm?)

    ThumbU
Diffrent thumbU files are in the main Left hand file map AND there is a diffrent ThumbU(left) map.
    Desktop.ini is missing
    Thumbs.db is missing

    Hand
HbIndexmotorGear is missing ( can use from right arm?)
HbMotorholder02.STL is missing ( can use from right arm?)
HbShaftstopperA04.STL is missing ( can use from right arm?)
HbShaftstopperB04.Stel is missing ( can use from right arm?)
Hbwristmount is missing ( can use from right arm?)

    Thank you.

    Hi Rick,

I built several left hand last year. Indeed, the left hand files seems a little bit outdated. I list out every parts and compare with right hand, and I flip the right hand file if necessary.

    Hi Rick,

I built several left hand last year. Indeed, the left hand files seems a little bit outdated. I list out every parts and compare with right hand, and I flip the right hand file if necessary. Please refer to their assembly tutorial to see the actual location of printed parts. some parts are symmetrical and can be use in both left and right hand.

Rick, can you post what you find? I just started looking at this and came to the same conclusion.

I haven’t tried flipping stuff yet, I will try that too. If I make STLs I will post them.

Sure I can, I haven’t started yet because. Since I’m a student my professor wants me to do a lot of preparations before starting. For now, I’ve downloaded all the left hand files and just start with that. As soon I run in any trouble I’m going to grab a file from the right hand and try to mirror it.
